Picking Up Where Obama Left Off

Imaginatik Innovation Leaders Forum“The first step in winning the future is encouraging American innovation.”

So stated our President Barack Obama during last week’s State of the Union Address. But more important was what he did not say:

How can organizations, enterprises and communities that are in shock facing our new normal economy, begin to reinvent the very essence of our economic and social engines?

Imaginatik thinks it has one answer… and we are doing something about it. On February 16, 2011, in tandem
with our Innovation Leaders Forum (ILF) at the New York Stock Exchage (NYSE), we will launch a national conversation inviting students in Boston, New York City and Washington D.C. to suggest ways to restart the innovation bonfires of America. We are highly confident that in just 1-2 weeks, America’s youth will contribute thought-provoking ideas, proposals and propositions to help get us all back on the road to recovery.

If your life purpose is innovation, strategy, change management or product/service development, join us at the complimentary Innovation Leaders Forum New York City at the New York Stock Exchange on February 16, 2011 by registering with alyssa_lapine@imaginatik.com. Be present and contribute; you will learn a great deal. Worry not if you cannot attend. Stay tuned for the exciting results of Imaginatik’s “Youth Speak out on Innovation” conversation which starts on February 16th – with results to follow in early March 2011.

This all-day event on February 16, 2011 will kick off 2011 with a theme of “Getting innovation RIGHT before recovery.” Stoking Your Innovation Bonfire author Braden Kelley will talk about finding your innovation catapult and then, author and innovation guru Rowan Gibson will lead us in a conversation on how to focus on the human side of innovation and produce success.

Also, innovators from the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, Bombardier, the New York Stock Exchange, Medco, and the U.S. General Services Administration will share stories of their own innovation journeys. We will also dive into Innovation as a Service, what’s new with Idea Central, and numerous case studies to aid your 2011 “build-up” efforts in innovation.
