As we kick off a new month with tons of unknowns and uncertainties ahead, it’s become clear to me that we need a mission. Like, one big jump-in-it-together mission where we take off the handcuffs and make sh*t happen. Are you bold enough to join us?
Now isn’t the time to take a break from being a disruptor. Instead of letting ourselves be consumed with fear and questions, let’s turn the tide and focus on the world around us. Now is the time to GIVE BACK. It’s time for us to be disruptive givers!
What the hell days that mean? Good question.
Disruptive giving means digging deep and thinking creatively about what the worlds needs from you right now and then being brave enough to actually make that happen with a bias towards action. This isn’t for the weak of heart. This is the time to crank it up a notch, look beyond the living rooms that we feel trapped in, and unleash our best selves into the world.
Look forward to me and MOFI bugging you this entire month to keep distributive giving top of mind of all of us.
The world needs everything you are able to give. The challenge is on. Let’s start giving back!
Your Fellow Disruptor,
How Our Tribe Practices #DISRUPTIVEGIVING: Cure 4 the Kids Foundation
Meet Luna, our four-year-old “Warrior Princess!” Luna’s mom lost her job when Luna was newly diagnosed at just nine months old. She quickly secured another position, but it was three months before they were eligible for health insurance. From that devastating time until this day, Cure 4 the Kids takes care of Luna and continues to work towards her cure. MOFI will commit another $5k to this effort to support the front line of health care providers where they need to be.
