Shilpi Kumar and her colleagues asked business leaders across the globe what they thought qualified as innovation, what their organizations were doing to support innovation, and what was slowing them down. They soon learned that innovation has different meanings to different communities, cultures, and mindsets. What emerged from their conversations was an understanding of what is not innovation and a narrative they call “The Myths Of Innovation—and Detangling Them.” In this session, Shilpi will present their research and discuss the myths they unearthed—some of which you may even hold.
