Food for the Future Mind

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”
— Hippocrates

What if we could move the needle on diseases like Alzheimer’s by making slight changes in the foods we eat and the actions we take daily?

This is what Max Lugavere has focused his efforts on after memory loss became personal when his mother was struck with dementia. And, although there is no cure for this debilitating disease, there is research that Max has sourced, that suggests that food intake can limit the likelihood of brain deterioration later in life.

He’s even directed the upcoming documentary “Bread Head,” which reveals the myriad of ways food is the information technology of the body, capable of enhancing neuroplasticity and optimizing cognition.

His recent Kickstarter campaign for the movie raised 2x its goal and was a viral sensation featured on Upworthy, The Huffington Post, Fast Company, Men’s Health, and many more.

Check out the preview teaser for Bread Head, which answers the question — What if America’s most feared disease is a choice that we make at check-out?

Is it truly possible that this proactive approach to our exercise habits and nutrition can cut the risk of neurological disorders? This futurist will explore the impact diets and lifestyles have on our brain health at the Anti-Summit (beta).
